Each status can send one email when an order enters it.

  1. Edit the status and tick Send an email when an order enters this status.
  2. Choose who gets it: the customer, the store admin or both.
  3. Save. The email now appears in WooCommerce → Settings → Emails, where you can change its subject, heading and text, or switch it off.

Customise the template

The email uses WooCommerce’s standard email layout. To change its HTML, copy the template from the plugin into your theme:

From To
wp-content/plugins/orderhue/templates/emails/orderhue-os-status.php wp-content/themes/your-theme/woocommerce/emails/orderhue-os-status.php
wp-content/plugins/orderhue/templates/emails/plain/orderhue-os-status.php wp-content/themes/your-theme/woocommerce/emails/plain/orderhue-os-status.php

When emails are not sent

  • When orders move because you deleted a status (see Statuses).
  • When the email is switched off in WooCommerce → Settings → Emails.

Emails don’t arrive?

OrderHue sends through WordPress’s normal email function, just like WooCommerce. If no WooCommerce emails arrive, set up an SMTP plugin with your email provider. If only OrderHue’s emails are missing, contact support.
